VITAMIN B-12

Vitamin B-12 is essential to cell maturation, an essential water-soluble vitamin that the body uses to maintain healthy nerve cells, produce RNA, DNA and red blood cells helping iron to function efficiently. B12 also works with folate to produce the amino acid SAMe which controls mood and supports the immune function.

B12 injections have many benefit and often prescribed for various deficiencies that cause fatigue, anemia, tiredness and lethargy. A full consultation is required for administration of Vitamin B-12 and does not exclude you from seeking medical advice from your GP to rule out any medical conditions

The B12 injection has the most positive effect when administered regular over a 3-6 month period; dependent on consultation it may be recommended you receive approximately six injections over a period of six weeks to build your body’s B12 stores then maintain these levels at 3-6 monthly intervals.
